Surender Sharma is an Indian poet, writer and humorist from India. He often writes and performs comic sketches of himself and his wife and is famous for his refrain chaar lainaa suna raha hoon in Haryanavi dialect. Sharma is known for his contribution to Haryanvi and Hindi comic poetry. He originally belongs to village Nangal Chaudhary Mahendragarh district, Haryana and has made a very good contribution to Haryanvi comic poetry. He did his graduation in Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) of Delhi University. He sometimes uses the Marwari language for his humour as well. He is one of the first few poets of Hasya Ras (Comic and Satiric Poetry). He has established the tradition of Hasya-Ras among Kavi sammelan industry.

He has travelled abroad and has performed live shows in almost 80 countries worldwide. Since 5 decades he has been performing on stage, radio and various television channels.
